About Litmura

Litmura is a small US company making household goods we actually want on our own counters.

We started with water because the options were all compromises. A pitcher filter is cheap but it lives in the fridge, holds two glasses, and needs refilling before you have finished pouring. An under-sink system means a plumber, a cabinet, and a conversation with your landlord. Bottled water means carrying cases from the car and a bin full of plastic.

The Litmura Countertop Filtration System is our answer: stainless steel rather than tinted plastic, no plumbing or tools of any kind, filled from the top and poured from a front spigot. It sits out on the counter, which turns out to be most of the reason people keep using it.

How we work

We are a direct-to-consumer business. We ship from within the United States and we answer our own email, usually within one business day.

We would rather tell you what a product does not do than oversell what it does. Where we make a claim about performance, we base it on documentation from the manufacturer of that specific unit.
